🏡 Community Living Associate

Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Community Living Services | Baltimore County, MD Weekend Shift Only: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM Starting Pay: $18.50/hour

🌟 About the Role

NCIA is seeking compassionate and dependable Community Living Associates to support adults with developmental disabilities in residential settings. This role ensures each individual’s health, safety, and personal growth through individualized care and meaningful community integration.

đź›  Key Responsibilities

Implement Person-Centered Plans, behavior plans, and nursing care plans

Provide supervision, personal care, and life skills coaching

Assist with meal preparation, household upkeep, and community activities

Accurately document daily progress, incidents, and health data

Transport residents to appointments and activities

Respond to crises and communicate concerns to medical and supervisory staff

Maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive home environment

🎓 Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience

1–3 months of related experience or training preferred

Ability to read and interpret safety and procedural documents

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic math skills (fractions, percentages, bar graphs)

Ability to follow written, oral, and diagrammed instructions

📜 Certifications & Requirements

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) – Maryland Board of Nursing

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Acceptable driving record per agency and insurance criteria

Willingness to use personal vehicle occasionally for resident transport
